The tour start at 9:00 am;
We’ll pick the clients up in their hotel and drive to Ragusa where we’ll visit the old town of Ragusa Ibla with its many spots where the fiction was shot, such as the the beautiful Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral of St. George (main piazza of Vigata, Montalbano’s village).
In the nearby Giardini Iblei were shot several scenes too. We will walk through Ibla for one hour to admire the wonders that can give Ibla!
Will then proceed to Scicli, in this beautiful baroque town lives the “CommissarioMontalbano”.
Walking through the many baroque buildings you will see other locations such as the police station of Montelusa.
At about 13.30 we will do a short stop for a light lunch. ( not included in the price).
After lunch continue towards the seaside village of Punta Secca, in the fiction it is a fraction of Marinella, where Montalbano’s home lies along with the beautiful beach where the inspector gave his swims.
Leaving Punta Secca we will continue the tour going east to visit the seaside village of Donnalucata with its wonderful promenade, represented in the ficion as the seafront of Vigata in the episode “The forms of water”. Also close to the sea, near Sampieri we will visit an old factory abandoned in the the early ‘900:
the Pisciotto or “La Mannara”, somewhat disreputable place in the TV series.
